Eileen Lighthawk has been on a spiritual path for most of this incarnation. She sees creative expression as a natural by-product of consciously connecting to the Creative Source of All Life.
Private training with indigenous elders from North America and Tibet helped develop her understanding of the spiritual power of symbols and colors. University and other studies have given her insight into the visual languages of diverse cultures and the effects of various color and sound frequencies on human consciousness.
As a counselor, healer and spiritual teacher, Lighthawk has long been fascinated with the efficiency of image. “Color, line and form, individually and collectively, have the ability to transcend mental chatter, communicate a message, radiate energy, and evoke a resonant vibration in the viewer. “
With the love and encouragement of her friends, she now enjoys combining her wisdom, imagination, training and innate abilities with her painting and photographic talent. Nicknamed ‘The Artistic Mystic’ by her friends, Lighthawk now shares the imagery she co-creates with a larger audience.
“This journey is about communication. What makes this fun for me is that the work is evocative. Each piece acts as a transmitter, a radiator, a mirror of a higher reality. They are each little transformers that bless the space in which they’re displayed and activate the people who adopt them. When I work, I sing, pray, meditate, and I ask that each image be imbued with Spirit.”
The results are paintings and photographs that speak to the viewer at a deep level: art on a mission, art from the heart, Art for Transformation.
